Svatantra Microfin Pvt. Ltd. (SMPL) - A brief overview:

Since inception the company has disbursed loans amounting to more than INR 11000 Cr to microfinance borrowers and currently (as of January 2022) the company Gross Loan Portfolio (GLP) is more than INR 5000 Cr with an active customer base of 1.5 million+. Ours is the first NBFC-MFI to adopt 100% cashless disbursements (since 2012, inception) and has rolled out products like one of its kind “concierge led cashless Mediclaim” for rural Indians and “kutcha house insurance”. To further leverage technology and create financial inclusion Svatantra introduced "Saksham" a unique customer facing app customized to engage with rural customers. Diversifying in MSME and non-credit products for customer has also been our top priority.

In 2022, Svatantra completed a decade of enabling financial independence and encouraging entrepreneurship to the underbanked rural women. With a workforce of over 6,000 people, we now operate in 19 states covering 299 districts with a network of over 690 branches and are ranked amongst the top 10 MFIs
